Lotus Flowers - Henri Rousseau

By stephane • Coloring pages • Wednesday 07/10/2009 • 0 comments

"Lotus Flowers", a painting by the French painter Henri Rousseau, also known as Le Douanier Rousseau, transformed into a coloring page. This is the first time I adapt a work of art to make a coloring page, and I am quite pleased with the results. There are many small details that can make the coloring difficult for small children, but older children and adults are very likely to like this coloring page a lot!

If you have suggestions of paintings or drawings that would be interesting to transform into coloring pages, please tell us! Unless we can obtain permission from the artist, we can only use art that is in the public domain (e.g. painters that have been dead for more than 70 years). Unfortunately that means we can't use paintings from many contemporary masters like Picasso, Matisse, Dali etc.
