Create and print patterns with our Pattern Generator

Do you need an original pattern to customize the background of your web site, blog, Twitter page, MySpace etc.? Or are you looking for a patterned paper or fabric to print to do scrapbooking or digital scrapbooking? You can now create and print all the patterns we created to color the coloring pages on ScrapColoring ! All you have to do is to choose a pattern, its size and its colors.

You can use the Save feature (disk shaped icon) to generate a background image in the png format. The pattern will be repeated in a 600x600 pixel picture. All patterns are seamless. You can crop the image in order to keep the un-repeated pattern, and then use it as a background in your web pages (using the background-image CSS property). The pattern size is often 150x150, 200x200, 300x300, depending on the pattern and the size you chose. You can use the feature "Canvas size" in your image editor (Gimp, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro etc.) to keep only the pattern.

For your offline creative works (non digital: scrapbooking, gift wrapping paper etc.) you will get the best quality by using the Print feature (printer shaped icon). The printing resolution and quality will be much higher, even for small-sized patterns.

30 patterns are currently available: basic patterns like horizontal and vertical stripes, dots, a Scottish tartan, pop patterns with flowers, waves, hearts, stars, slices of citrus fruits (lime, lemon, orange or grapefruit depending on the color you choose), fishes, arabic patterns, hawaiian patterns, Liberty style patterns (with small flowers). We add new patterns regularly. Don't hesitate to suggest new patterns you would like to see!

The generated patterns images are licenced under the licence Creative commons - Attribution - Noncommercial - Share Alike. You can use the patterns by indicating they come from ScrapColoring (with a link if you use them on a web site, or the url if you use them offline). You can change the pattern (e.g. its size and color), and redistribute it under the same licence (indicating that ScrapColoring is the original author). And you cannot use them for commercial projects. If in doubt, please contact us.
