A Mommy Koala climbs on the branches of an eucalyptus tree, with her baby koala on her back. Koalas are arboreal (they live in trees) marsupials (like the kangaroo, the female koala has a ventral pocket (a pouch in her belly) where her baby koala lives at the begining of his life). It is sometime called a koala bear, even though it is not a bear. Koalas live in Australia. They eat only eucalyptus leaves, and they never drink!
